In 1961, young Bob Dylan arrives in Greenwich Village, seeking his hero Woody Guthrie. Embraced by Pete Seeger and falling into the folk scene, Dylan gains attention but struggles under record-company constraints. His meteoric rise, romantic entanglements with Joan Baez and Sylvie, and internal tensions culminate in his electrifying, controversial Newport Folk Festival performance—marking his transformation from folk purist to cultural icon.
